Mar Baselios Kakkad Development Society (MBKDS) is a Charitable Organization formed and promoted by the Malankara Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum. The society is registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Act XII of 1955 with Reg No. P/342/1999. MBKDS works with the poor and marginalized irrespective of caste creed or religion.

The Mission

The Mission of Mar Baselios Development Society is to serve the poor, marginalized, unorganized sections of society through promoting and strengthening their community based organizations in order to enhance the creative potentials of the individuals and the groups for sustaining the development and empowerment process.

OPERATIONAL AREA

The operational area of Mar Baselios Kakkad Development Society is whole of India and at present mainly concentrated in Pathanamthitta district.
